Elections have consequences, and the outcome of the 2024 presidential election will create a shift of power in both the executive and legislative branches of government. It also will impact the courts. The regulatory agendas of OSHA and MSHA will see major overhaul, under the 10-1 deregulatory initiative. New enforcement initiatives and changes to OSHA National Emphasis Programs are underway, and changes will impact VPP, consultative services and more.
